: Working hours: 856 Motor hours: 1882     The HYGiON Particulate matter pollution has become a growing issue for cities worldwide - being aware of this problem, RAVO has taken action. Meeting high emission standards is one solution, but the company wanted to take it a step further by focussing on cleaning particulate matter from the air. RAVO teamed up with ENS Europe and found a way to utilize their unique and patented filtering system and integrate it into the RAVO 5 iSeries. A new sweeper was born: the HYGiON. SAIGA Particle System The HYGiON has all the advantages of the 5 iSeries with an extra benefit: it is equipped with the SAIGA Particle system. This system brings electrostatically charged ions into the exhaust airflow of the sweeper. This gives the dust particles an electrical charge, which attracts them to the collector with an opposite charged and binds them together. These particles are then collected on the frame and are accumulated into larger pieces of dust that remain in the system until it is cleaned. RAVO is zich hiervan bewust en heeft actie ondernomen. Voldoen aan hoge brandstofemissienormen is één oplossing, maar het bedrijf wilde een stap verder gaan door zich te concentreren op het verwijderen van fijnstof uit de lucht. RAVO werkte samen met ENS Europe en vond een manier om hun unieke en gepatenteerde filtersysteem te gebruiken en te integreren in de RAVO 5 iSeries. Een nieuwe veegmachine werd geboren: de HYGiON. Saiga Particle System De HYGiON beschikt over dezelfde prestaties als de 5 iSeries, met een extra voordeel; het is uitgerust met het SAIGA Particle-systeem. Dit systeem brengt elektrostatisch geladen ionen in de uitgangsluchtstroom van de veegmachine. Hierdoor worden stofdeeltjes elektrisch geladen, waardoor ze naar de tegenovergestelde geladen collector worden getrokken en samen worden gebonden. Deze deeltjes worden vervolgens verzameld op het frame en omgezet in grotere stukken stof, die in het systeem blijven totdat ze zijn gereinigd.
